What happens when strategic thinking meets collaboration, complexity and play?

On Thursday 24th September, Co-Labs by journey will host an opportunity to experience Quaternity, a new four-player, team-based mindsport developed specifically for the 21st century.

Rooted in the traditions of strategic play, Quaternity has been designed for a world where complexity, interconnection and rapid change are increasingly part of everyday life. Rather than treating complexity simply as a problem to be solved, the game creates a space in which players can explore and navigate it together.

At Co-Labs, we bring together ambitious teams working across science, technology and innovation.

These businesses operate in environments where collaboration, adaptability and the ability to respond to changing circumstances are essential. Quaternity offers a different way to explore some of those same skills – through play. The game is designed to develop strategic awareness, adaptability, responsiveness and the ability to think with others in mind. With four players working as a team, success isn’t simply about an individual’s decisions. It is about understanding the wider situation, anticipating what might happen next and considering how your actions interact with those of others.

We're inviting the Co-Labs community and wider Cambridge innovation community to come along, meet the people behind Quaternity and experience the game for themselves.
