A new incubator, located at NIAB in Cambridge, helps early-stage companies by providing flexible and affordable lab spaces.
We have recently partnered with Co-Laboratories, lab space operator and community builder that helps early-stage companies by providing flexible and affordable spaces. Co-Laboratories was founded by Laura Brightman, a former bio-tech founder in Cambridge. Laura was unable to find space in the city to grow her start-up and so was forced to leave for the US. Whilst in LA and after several years working at various start-ups, she joined a lab operator specialising in providing space for young companies. Laura has since returned to the UK with this operational expertise to set up Co-Laboratories, with the first site in Camden in partnership with Camden Council.
The new incubator is located at NIAB adjacent to the Crop Science Centre on Lawrence Weaver Road, Cambridge. The site will open in July, where there will be over 40 private rooms and 14 Co-Lab benches with shared equipment, all available on flexible lease terms.
