Journey was a proud lead sponsor for one of the world’s largest Biohackathons that took place in Cambridge at the end of 2024. The event saw researchers and entrepreneurs from around the world tackle a diverse mix of tracks including drug discovery AI, biosecurity, astrobiology, women’s health, climate-tech and longevity which culminated in a fascinating final pitch day.
Team EElectric consisting of Valeriia Nadmitova, Sopida Wongwas, and Nina Maria Szukala won 1st place with their innovative electric eel, bio-battery concept and we are excited to have their team join our community in 2025.
